Cameron has spent 16 years in the industry working on various large-scale roading projects across New Zealand for Fulton Hogan, as well as through the establishment of his own civil organisations.

Cameron started out his career as a young diesel mechanic, progressing soon to diesel technician and subsequently supervisor for Land Rover London. Returning to New Zealand in 2007, he turned his skills to the civil industry. During his time as area manager in Fulton Hogan Cameron gained experience heading various departments. To further develop his competence as a leader, and the success of his team and subsequently his departments, Cameron completed a post graduate diploma in management at the University of Waikato in 2014.

Fast forward to the present, Cameron has turned his skills and accumulated knowledge to growing his own business – established in February 2020. His aspiration is to create a strong team that delivers solid, sustainable infrastructure to future generations.

Cameron takes his role as owner seriously, and accepts responsibility for the health and safety of all ECB staff. He has extensive experience operating machinery, which has led to the investment of the devolvement of the junior staffs training. Cameron’s ultimate focus is ensuring a successful and satisfying result for the client. This is accomplished through regular visits to ECB project sites to assess progress; to monitor the quality of the work being completed; to ensure that ECB standards are upheld; and to ensure the contract manager has the support needed to deliver a great outcome.

ECB places considerable emphasis on site and operational safety, making sure people go home to their families at the end of the shift. This means ensuring the team are filling out JSEAs and Pre-Starts consistently and correctly, and most importantly, talking about all the site hazards.
